Community Engagement & Reassurance:

Update on Coffee with a Copper.

The first session of CWAC was successful with a good majority of people attending.  This was an 8am -5 pm rota.  From this various, complaints and resolutions have been found and reassurance maintained.

Explanation of my role was made to all attending members of the public and appears it has been welcomed by most.

The second session (completed early November) was focussed on evening hours to allow attendance for 9-5 workers.  This proved less popular however I have committed to 4 months and will persevere.

Patrols and speed checks have been allocated following the meetings and other projects are in the works.

Would be good to see graphs of the numbers every few months so trends can be seen. It’s difficult to see if things are improving or not when you only have the numbers for two months.
